Hand holding up a mobile phone with Google My Business app highlightedWhen was the last time you checked your Google My Business profiles for accuracy? Well now it may be easier than ever to do. As reported by SEO Roundtable, Google just rolled out new business cards within some Google Maps listings that give businesses the opportunity to review and submit updates to their Google Business listings.

If the card shows up, you’ll see a text box right above the business description that says “Manage XXX Business with Google My Business”. Click on that box and you’ll be able to submit changes to your business page as well as posting news updates, sharing photos or videos, respond to customer reviews, and and much more.

Need more reasons to keep your Google My Business profile up to date? Here are just a few….

  • Google Posts has now rolled out for all small businesses. This means you can share your latest updates, highlight your favorite products, feature a new promotion or much more “live” as-it-happens!
  • Online searchers are relying on online reviews more than ever to make decisions about products and services. Ensuring your Google My Business profile is current and accurate makes it easier for people to find your products, services and events….and of course hopefully leave you awesome reviews!
  • Keeping your profile up to date will ensure that your local business shows up in the local search results for products or services specific to your offerings.
